We do our best to accommodate referrals or connect them with other midwives in the community.

We are a MARP midwifery practice which means we can offer creative midwifery solutions to meet your clients’ needs. We can do home visits, share care, at any point in pregnancy or following.

If you have questions about how we can work together, send us an email, we would love to explore how midwifery can meet your clients needs.

Choice of Birthplace Night

We are dedicated to informed choice care, and that includes education about where a midwifery client can delivery and what that looks like. Join us for a night where we explore the evidence for out of hospital deliveries with registered midwives, indications to transfer to the hospital, and how we work to keep those options safe. We set up a birth pool and all of our emergency equipment and welcome you to hear stories from past clients, listen to midwives talk about the research, and ask any questions you might have. You do not need to be a current client of Edmonton Community Midwives!

Usually we run this event every 3-4 months, keep an eye on our social media or give us a call at the office for details.
